Workshop and Awareness:

  1. Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) Meeting Highlights Proactive Campus Safety Measures at BAU Sabour (Sabour, March 25, 2025)

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, convened a meeting on March 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Seminar Hall of the Department of Entomology. Chaired by Dr. Kiran Kumari, Associate Professor, Entomology, BAC Sabour, the meeting was attended by committee members from various departments, including Plant Pathology, Floriculture, Plant Biotechnology and university administration.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the current status of grievances and to deliberate on effective strategies for addressing any issues reported to the ICC. In a noteworthy development, the Chairman announced that no grievances or complaints had been registered during the current year, attributing this positive outcome to the university’s consistent sensitization and awareness programmes.

In a forward-looking resolution, the committee decided to enhance visibility and awareness through the installation of informative display boards in all departments. Additionally, it was agreed to extend similar awareness campaigns across BAU's constituent colleges, research centres and hostels for both boys and girls.

The meeting concluded with a collective note of appreciation for the committee’s continued dedication to maintaining a safe, inclusive and grievance-free academic environment.
