Research:

·         Experiment in Kharif season on rice was conducted and presently analyse to find out the suitable micronutrients & bio-agents to control the sheath blight of rice. (PI: Dr. Durga Prasad, Asstt. Prof. -cum- Jr. Scientist, Plant Pathology).

·         Experiment going on evaluation of efficacy of antibiotics, chemicals and botanicals against X. oryzae pv. oryzae causing bacterial leaf blight of rice. (PI: Dr. Durga Prasad, Asstt. Prof. -cum- Jr. Scientist, Plant Pathology).

·         Experiment going on development and processing of Makhana (Euryale ferox) popping machine. (PI: Dr. (Er.) Jitendra Kumar, Asstt. Prof. -cum- Jr. Scientist, Agril. Engineering)

·         In Kharif season, a direct seeded rice (Aerobic) trial has been conducted. (Co-PI: Dr. S. S. Singh, Asstt. Prof. -cum- Jr. Scientist, Plant Breeding & Genetics)

·         In Rabi season, three Bihar state varietal trials have been conducted on chickpea, lentil & Indian mustard for the evaluation of varietal performance. (Co-PI: Dr. S. S. Singh, Asstt. Prof. -cum- Jr. Scientist, Plant Breeding & Genetics)
